Join us for this creative smorgasbord of live music, art and the senses.

At 7pm on Tuesday 3rd July we’ll be gathering at Platform Bar at Netil House for a 2 hour-long acoustic set and illustration marathon!

//WHAT?//

So you’ve heard of life drawing with saggy boobs and hairy men? Well this is NOT that. Our musicians will be our models moving around the venue playing a live, improvised set. We shall be the artists; drawing their movements and letting their sounds influence our work. There will be a mixture of quick session sketches and more time for refined illustrations. We will end on everyone being blindfolded and only illustrating from sounds around us. How awesome!?

 

//THE MUSICIANS//

*Leo Abrahams: a British musician composer and producer has collaborated with a multitude of professional musicians including Brian Eno, Imogen Heap, Jarvis Cocker, Carl Barat and Paul Simon.

*Paul Mullen: a British musician, most notable recognised for being the primary vocalist and guitarist with Yourcodenameis:milo.  

*B>E>A>K: The band consist of members from Coal Train, Field Music, Razmataz Lorry Excitement, This Ain’t Vegas, Boxed Roomer & The Lake Poets and some live shows have included guests from The Futureheads and Maximo Park.
